Hi Nicko here,
My life ambition was to be a presenter.  I have been on 101FM for twelve years.
I do "Night Moves" (10pm to 1am) every second Wednesday night and "Party Mix" (7pm to 10pm) on the second and fourth Saturday every month.  My favourite music is the sixties, it was an exciting era to grow up in.
Although I experienced the seventies I was influenced by the music of two older sisters.  We grew up on the north coast.  The surf scene was the go....... I stlll remember the "sockhops" and my sister with her "bobby socks".
We frequented the Mooloolaba surf life saving  club.  I remember the "woodies" parked outside.
A lot of my sisters friends were lifesavers with their girlfriends.  Rock and Roll was big and there were concerts in town.  Both my sisters had a cleaning job at a motel where the stars stayed between gigs.
They used to come home with Col Joy, Billy Thorpe, Normie Rowe signatures on their school hats in lipstick..........Mum was not impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Rock and Roll and the sixties influence.  Outside of 101FM I enjoy cooking, spending time with my mates, going away in my caravan.  I also enjoy dancing.............Rock and Roll of course.
I love to interact with my audience, to convey my sense of humour and with that I look forward to the phone calls and value their time to listen to my show.  I also like to embrace  the music and make a difference in their lives.....
